ROTTING CHRIST'S ALBUM TITLE REVEALED

Set for a February 15th release, ROTTING CHRIST's upcoming album is entitled "AEALO", correlatively with the band's will to delve deeper than ever before into their Greek roots.

Frontman Sakis explains: "AEALO is the transcription of the ancient Greek word ΕΑΛΩ into the Latin alphabet. It means thrashing, catastrophe or destruction and reflects the musical and lyrical content of the album. The concept of 'AEALO' deals with the feelings of a warrior during a battle, therefore the album's title bears this sense of anger, fear and grief."

German extreme metallers DEATH OF DESIRE have posted a demo version of the song "Frozen" on their MySpace page. The drums on the track were laid down by MAYHEM's Hellhammer (a.k.a. Jan Axel Blomberg), who will also appear on the band's debut album, "ANTI-human", which is scheduled for release in early 2010. The drum tracks were recorded at Knut's (ARCTURUS) Mølla Studio in Norway. The studio is said to be an old mill from the 1700s where such acts as AURA NOIR, ARCTURUS, MAYHEM, ULVER, FLEURETY, RAGNAROK and ROTTING CHRIST have previously recorded.

OV HELL, the new black metal project featuring DIMMU BORGIR vocalist Shagrath and ex-GORGOROTH bassist King, has completed work on its debut album, "The Underworld Regime", for a February 2010 release via Indie Recordings. When I used the name "The White God" for my next album I had no idea it would stir up so much fear and irrational emotions. To me this is just a nickname of Baldur, whom the album is all about. No ambiguity intended. The truth is I announced the release of "The White God" at this early point to ease the pressure on the www.burzum.org host. He was getting tired of having to tell individuals contacting him that he didn't know when the next album would be due, what its name was going to be or anything else. With the article this problem was solved.

With a title including the word "white" it apparently isn't possible to slip under the radar of the racist "Western" media. To take away their excuse to spread their anti-Varg/anti-Burzum hate-propaganda when (and before) the album is released I have decided to change the album title. These self-loathing fools have no interest in the music anyway, and because of that I don't want their attention - and I won't get it if I use a title that doesn't give them an excuse to attack me.

The new title of the album is, as You might have guessed from the title of this article, "Belus", the so-called Indo-European name for Baldur/the White God. I could have used any European name for this deity, but I chose this one because it is the oldest known name and because it is pan-European.

"Belus" will be released on Byelobog Productions March-April next year, with eleven new tracks; nine metal tracks and an ambient intro and outro, and about 50+ minutes of music (the long outro not included). The lyrics are all in Norwegian, but French and Russian translations will be available on burzum.org asap -- possibly even before the release of the album.

The waiting is -almost- over! We are working very hard on the completion of everything regarding our upcoming release 'Death Came Through A Phantom Ship'.
The album will again be released through 'Maddening Media Records' and by the end of NEXT week we will reveal the first piece of horror right here on our Myspace page...

In May 2010 we will enter the Klangschmiede/Studio for recording the next album.

There have been some 5300 of you who have trusted us. Who have become friends of Triptykon here on MySpace on the strength of but a brief few minutes of music called "Crucifixus". Ever since we formed Triptykon in May of 2008, "Crucifixus" has served as a mere placeholder. It is a Triptykon song by all means, but an atypical one and thus a mere fraction of a glimpse at Triptykon's full musical spectrum.

More of Triptykon's music shall be revealed shortly, and "Eparistera Daimones", Triptykon's first album, will follow in early 2010, accompanied by the unleashing of Triptykon's raging force onstage.

Right now, however, you are the original 5300. There have been many who were skeptical after the obliteration of Celtic Frost. There have been those who waited and still wait, and there have been those who ignorantly dismissed Triptykon as an "ambient band" due to the nature of "Crucifixus", in spite of the fact that we have always unambiguously stated that Triptykon is the continuation and further development of Celtic Frost's path. You, on the other hand, were loyal. You are the true followers, the true faithful ones, the true believers.

We owe you infinite gratitude for your confidence, and we will work hard not to disappoint it. We feel honored by your presence, and we bow to you.

Dutch symphonic black metal act CARACH ANGREN has completed work on its second album, "Death Came Through A Phantom Ship", at Tidal Wave Studio in Karlsdorf, Germany for an early 2010 release via Maddening Media.

A song from the CD, entitled "The Sighting Is A Portent Of Doom", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
