“Never Say Never” is the fifth full length album by Folkvang of Eastern Europe’s Belarus. Wind writes all songs as well as performing vocals and all instruments aside from percussion. Folkvang’s atmospheric melodies are again backed up by Incarnatus of Canada’s Pagan Hellfire on drums. With each album Folkvang explore new territory within their already refined and unique sound as a band. “Never Say Never” is a new masterpiece, consisting of seven songs written and recorded over the past two years.

“Never Say Never” will be released by Cold Northern Blood in three different formats: CD, 12” vinyl record and cassette tape. Much work has gone into the presentation of this release in all formats. CDs will include a full color fold out booklet and the first 50 will include a free Folkvang logo pin. 12” vinyl records will be made on 180 gram vinyl and will include a large full color fold out insert. The first 50 LPs will include a free Folkvang logo patch and pin. Cassette tapes will be a high quality limited edition of 100 cassettes with full color art and a Folkvang logo pin.

Drudkh (Official) have announced a new split EP alongside the UK's Winterfylleth. The EP, titled ‘Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates’, will feature four-tracks taking the shape of cover songs recorded by both bands, paying tribute to their early influences.

'‘Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates’ will see a North American release on Jan. 21st (Jan. 17th worldwide) as a gold hand-numbered 12" LP, and as a CD titled ‘Eastern Frontier in Flames’, which will include all DRUDKH’s tracks from ‘Thousands of Moons Ago’, as well as the ‘Anti-Urban’ and ‘Slavonic Chronicles’ EPs.

Writing for the new album 'Gesundrian' is now complete. We commence recording in October. Was our pleasure to have Christophe Szpajdel as our guest tonight at rehearsal. True to the ABIGOR tradition it will again be very different to the previous releases. Leytmotif Luzifer will not contain any synthetic element, the guitars and bass left completely dry and untouched. No effect edits or effects (except EQ) at all were used for strings, as the 7 songs of the album demanded this direct and natural sonic form.
ABIGOR have always changed sonically within the Satanic Black Metal movement, and using a rougher sound free of any synthetics brought forth recordings like Apokalypse in the past, yet never before has ABIGOR been as strict as this time.

Soon further insight concerning lyrical theme, vocals and the accompanying visual realization will be given.

After months of secrecy spent in the crypts finalizing the details on their debut recordings, today death metal horde, WARFATHER, finally declares their battle plans.
The new full-time project fronted by ex-Morbid Angel bassist/vocalist Steve Tucker, WARFATHER was initially announced in mid-2012, but has remained otherwise virtually a mystery until now. As the finishing touches are currently being handled on their debut album, now confirmed to bear the title, Orchestrating The Apocalypse, this band sees Tucker back to fronting a death metal outfit after over a decade since his departure from Morbid Angel, and over two years since his participation as a vocalist and writer in the well-received Nader Sadek project. On the impending attack, Tucker states, “I am stoked about WARFATHER and our first album! WARFATHER is more than just a metal band; it is a belief system and a meeting of the minds, the ones that can see what is truly happening in the times we are living in. Orchestrating The Apocalypse is a warning to the eyes that choose to be blind, and a call to arms to the minds that do feel the coming changes. It is pure blackened, apocalyptic death metal. Fuck religion, fuck the government! This is their apocalypse. Our time is NOW!”

Orchestrating The Apocalypse brutalizes in a relentless style that builds on the work laid on the three Tucker-fronted Morbid Angel albums — Formulas Fatal To The Flesh, Gateways To Annihilation and Heretic – resounding with over forty minutes of pure American death metal. WARFATHER delivers an intense, debilitating performance that should no doubt please fans of Morbid Angel, Nile, and Behemoth, while also sporadically infusing unique even bizarre atmospheric elements, elevating the album to a cutting-edge status. The album was recorded and mixed at Cincinnati-based TME studios by Steve Tucker and mastered by Maor Applebaum at Maor Applebaum Mastering, and is now confirmed for release via Greyhaze Records on January 21, 2014 in North America, with a European release date to be announced in the coming weeks.

There are alots of people that think we have disbanned and quit playing and that´s not the case. I have made a couple of interviews in magazines lately about the Dawn history and what we have been up to, i will post the link here on our website as soon as released.

The old albums have been alot of work with this year to get them out on the market again. There will be a re-issue on all three albums both LP/CD and digital downloads and on demand services such as Spotify. Century Media Records will release the old albums.

EMPTY signs with OSMOSE PROD

In this fatal hour, the band of negative and funerary Black Metal since 1996, expresses his “Kind Solace In A Dying Hour” for humanity when confirming the joining of his dark designs with the legendary label Osmose prod for the release of the 4th full length “Etica Profana Negativa”.

The album was recorded during the summer solstice in Moontower Studios by Javi Felez and the collaboration in the drums by Nahemoth of the desolating Dantalion. It brings the band to an even further fateful and desolated step.

… Emphasized by a lyricism based on the negation of life, it´s the most dismal work of all releases before.

We proudly present our cooperation with Century Media and our ex label Necropolis Records (RIP). In March 2014 Century Media will unleash the full DAWN back catalog. The remasters will be released on CD/LP and all digital services like iTunes and Spotify.

Century Media Records proudly announce the license of the entire discography by Swedish act DAWN who apart from bands like Dissection, Unanimated or Eucharist belongs to the most legendary, strongest and most underrated acts merging death and black metal during the mid 90's.

Formed back in 1990, DAWN quickly developed from pure death metal on the first early 90's demos into a more complex, melodic, epic and atmospheric style culminating in the fantastic masterpiece "Slaughtersun - Crown Of The Triarchy" (1998).

In the first half of 2014 everything the band has ever recorded will be made available again, carefully remastered by Dan Swanö and accompanied by reworked artworks and more - done in full cooperation with the band.

After their original release the DAWN titles were only available as a compilation on Necropolis Records in 2004 - which is being sold for horrendous prices nowadays - and never before on vinyl (!), thus it is about time these fantastic recordings get officially reissued in proper formats and at reasonable prices.

The planned DAWN releases are:

• Demos 1991 - 1993 (title tba) CD/LP
• "Nær Sólen Gar Niþer For Evogher" (originally released in 1994) CD/LP
• "Sorgh På Svarte Vingar Fløgh" (originally released in 1996) MCD/MLP
